We passed our big inspection! Yaay!
We've never built a house before, but apparently we are doing it right. We now have official permission to finish the house. It is a big relief and we are thrilled to have reached this milestone.
The three parts of today's inspection were:
Framing - passed
Electrical - passed
Mechanical - passed
The next inspection is the Final Inspection!!!

Love the "Study in Orange and Green". Reminds me of a picture my dad put together years and years ago (like in the 60s or 70s) which featured a can or two of Amolube and some press-on letters spelling out - I kid you not - "Speed kills". Your picture is much better, though.
The granite veneer looks good.
"Speed kills" that's rather interesting....hmmm. Glad you like the granite. I'm excited about the possibility of it. I hope it doesn't get put on the back burner, so to speak. Why in the world is everything that comes out of my mouth some sort of fire metaphor?
